No money will lead to a lot of problems when married even though the beginning is beautiful. I looking for someone I can love and live in for a long long time and hopefully forever.
hmm.. i suppose u are a "he" right? 1st time i heard a man asking this question. if i m the gal who u like, i will be very sad to know this. Because as a man, shouldnt you be confident, fighting outside and supporting the family, though your wife will also work and support the family as well.Originally posted by love?:I am a guy. It's a fact that living in Singapore is a very tough one if there isn't enough money to go by. What happens if in the choice of a partner, there appears to be many however the dilemmna is who to choose? Someone you love or someone whom you can foresee to have a future with espcially in the area of finances.
I am hesitating to go after someone I like the reason being she's not well-educated. I know many of you will say to go after love but what happens 10 or 20 years down the road when the realities of life steps in. It's tough even for a guy to support a family all by himself here in Singapore. I am talking about the average family here.
What would you do if you are just an average guy and you this choice presents itself to you. Should I wait for a better one or should I go for it?
to add on... if u are already hesitating now, i will advise u not to go after her. as next time "touch wood", if there is really financial problem, u will definately regret wooing her and marrying her.Originally posted by love?:I am a guy. I think that has nothing to do with whether the girl is poor or not.... But more like a separate issue altogether...?Originally posted by love?:Some things in life are foreseeable and not as rosy as what inspiration gurus says. I have seen a few guys going down this path and they ain't happy when the honeymoon ended.
Hmmmm... interesting thought, and I thought only girls worry about that... On a more serious note, being in a r/ship isn't just about sharing bills... It's sharing a life together, the good and the bad...Originally posted by love?:I am a guy. It's a fact that living in Singapore is a very tough one if there isn't enough money to go by.
