i didnt wana go see a doctor becoz i got a cut before in my jaw there but that since i was so young that time so i didnt really care somemore its jaw there nobody can see. now my jaw there is like a skin come off. very uglyOriginally posted by choco B:Go to the doctor ASAP please. He will be able to dress the wound for you and make sure there is no infection. It won't be too pricey.
FYI the longer you wait and if it gets infected, it will leave an ugly scar. So go immediately!!
Why not you let a doctor take a look at it and ask for his / her opinion instead?Originally posted by greeniecat:i didnt wana go see a doctor becoz i got a cut before in my jaw there but that since i was so young that time so i didnt really care somemore its jaw there nobody can see. now my jaw there is like a skin come off. very uglyso i tho let it recover also ok. but i really dont dare. i never stitch before.
STO for the stitches was two weeks, and the scars were there for about three years... It's like the pirates on my face...Originally posted by greeniecat:u still remember the process? like need how many days to recover?

The tooth bridging took about two years and nine months from the first dental appointment to the final insertion of the bridge...
STO is a medical term for stitch removal procedure...Originally posted by greeniecat:whats STO? and during the 2 weeks the doctor will put plaster until it recover isit? and after stitching the area is red?

erm then when the doctor done the stitches for me. no plaster is needed until the day when the doctor remove the stitches for u? they have to remove to stitches right?Originally posted by dork3d:STO is a medical term for stitch removal procedure...
During the two weeks, no plaster was applied over the stitches...
The area was slightly red and swollen...
Unless they used the biodegradeable stitching or the self-healing gel, otherwise would need a doctor or qualified nurse to remove for you...Originally posted by greeniecat:erm then when the doctor done the stitches for me. no plaster is needed until the day when the doctor remove the stitches for u? they have to remove to stitches right?

no off topic. i am more than grateful for u to share. tat was how many yrs ago? now the scar still visible?Originally posted by Nuad:got a nice scar from my nose to my chin now haha, cos of a motorbike accident. within 2 weeks of getting my license, a reminder to me not to speed and to wear a proper helmet (full face). 60+ stiches
was wearing my 40 dollar half face and woke up on the road (after being unconscious for awhile) with it off my head (i did strap it on properly). im guessing the visor cracked and lacerated my face.
well i guess you pay for the amount of protection you get
this is a good picture on why you should wear a full face
link to site explaining in depth the protection a full face offers

Seriously you should get a doctor to redress up your open wound, looks like inflammation and bacterial infection have set in...![]()
