i just had a fight with my younger sister...
This was what happened.
I asked: "you just now use the chair ar?"
She: "Ya."
Me: "Next time can dont throw my towel on the floor?"
She: " i never throw it drop on its own."
Me: "Then you cannot pick up ar?"
She kept quiet...
so i went out of the room...
A few mins later i walk back to the room taking my lunch box to the kitchen.
i don't know on purpose or what she uses her butt and knock into me...then my lunch box dropped on the floor...
Then i was abit unhappy liao..
She always mess up the table after using...or throw my towels everywhere..=(
Then she started to throw her bag and books on the floor loudly just for me to hear.
I was quite piss off at her attitude so i purposly knock my arm against her arm.
Another body contact happen...when i walk towards the room..this time round i know she going to knock against me(human instinct) so i kept a distance away but she purposly come near..-.- and knock her shoulder against mine, a really hard one..
By then i was really angry so i confronted her. i pull her shirt from behind. She turn to face me..and the fight start liao. We pushed eachother real hard...and shouted at eachother...
After the fight she went out slamming the gate and the wooden door...now the lock spoil liao...
I know i have my mistake too for the actions..as an older sis i should have confronted her in another manner not the violent way to resolve the conflicts..but my mind cannot act as fast as my brain.
She is sec 3 this year...in express stream..recently she also went out until quite late...my parent asked all she said was she went to her friend house to do revision.
We always got alot of phone calls from her teachers for showing attitude to them, skipping classes...and for her bubble tea straw ear hole.
There was once she skip the whole day of school...and recently she skip mother tongue lesson...
From today experience i really wanna get my hands off her..let her be what she wants to be...hopefully one day she will learn from some mistakes. -

as a elder sis just bear with it and shower more care and concern on her

Why so similar to TV dramma... Usually those rebellious actress hor is because of knowing bad friends.

nowadays teen very scary sia... hard to know what they are thinking...
maybe she needs more care and concern shown to her? anyway, she is still a teen, maybe you can buy her some nice and cute stuff? that what teens like right? then maybe she will tell her whats on her mind or share her problems( if she has). -

Well, that's pretty much how some teens are. Can't blame them, it's the hormones, make them angsty and all that kinda stuff and well teens like people to accept them, so if a group of people (could be good or bad) accepts them they will be more than willing to join them.

Ehms...in that case...since there seems to be a 'cold war' maybe it would be good if the 2 of you could engage in some activity (e.g. sports or computer games??) which she (yes she!) would like and then hopefully strike out of convo and know more of what is happening.Originally posted by EbiTenpura:agrees i wonder will she comes home tonight

tell her you have to think about your future for example how you gonna passed your exam if you keep skipping classes...if you failed your exam you will have a hard time finding job

teenage girls are like that 1, no respect for anything.
nothing you can do except for your parents. curfew and such.
it's ok if she hates them, it's only temporary.
the main part is that she knows what she's doing.
if her reasons of this recent attitude is just to relieve from her so called stress and having fun, then i have nothing to say.
let your parents do the dirty work, i'll say.

your solution is, just be over her head.

Don't make her see you as the "enemy". Start small, chit-chat with her, at least you're a girl too, so there's some common psychological ground.
Don't mention your parents all the time when you talk to her. -
