was talking to a dermatologist friend, he told me that you should never self medicate. Seeing a doctor is actually your best option, espcially in the long termOriginally posted by fifteen:any solutions you guys tried and successfully cured your pimples? like what products do you use? some advise please.. thanks.
If your pimples are of those severe case type, think visiting a skin specialist / dermatologist is much preferred . Try National Skin Centre , however only for last resort . Otherwise , family clinics can help too.Originally posted by fifteen:any solutions you guys tried and successfully cured your pimples? like what products do you use? some advise please.. thanks.
Went to New York Skins Solutions once and I'm not visiting it anymore. The price is very expensive. They will try to offer you this and that treatment and stuff. Hmm, I would think that eating more fruits and vegetables helps. Will cleanse the body from toxics so won't grow too much pimples.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:If your pimples are of those severe case type, think visiting a skin specialist / dermatologist is much preferred . Not only can you help reduce the outbreaks of pimples , if you drool onto the towel , it can be changed as well !Originally posted by MooKu:Oh yeah! If, when you sleep, you have a tendency to lie on the side of your face, that can cause pimples too, because you're sort of pressing the oil and bacteria in.
One way to reduce this pillow-press effect is to put a towel over your pillow and change the towel everyday (or at least, every other day).

hmm, sounds like a professional to me. lols. anyways, i dont really like the jelly jelly feeling of the aloe vera which i sliced it open once. lols. but you sure i can get the witchhazel? how much is it? thanks for the advise.Originally posted by LustyLucille:Hi fifteen,
Buy witchhazel lotion from Guardian pharmacy and use it like a toner after you wash your face. Next use fresh aloe vera gel direct from the plant itself. You can buy this plant from any orchard. It's cheap and easy to maintain. Put it outside your corridor where it will get enough sun and water it 3 to 4 times a week depends on the weather.
As far as aloe vera gel is concern there is no known side effect on the skin. You will really see a difference after using the aloe and witchhazel for a week onwards. Good luck![]()
