I got to know this gal a while ago and she piqued my interest.So I tried(still trying) to "get to know her better". Met with some resistance at first,but gradually I thought perseverance was finally about to move mountains.Just when I was experiencing a bit of success after trying really very hard,I found out that she was attached...I was bitterly crushed but Life still went on.I told myself that I'd still keep in contact with her (which I did)while keeping my options open and also seize any window of opportunity that came my way.So I waited...

When she told me that she had broken up,I thought my breakthrough had finally came...3 hours later,Senegal beat France 1-0...Anything is possible now!!!
World Cup month
I rooted for all the underdogs-Senegal,Turkey,Ireland,South Korea.Why? Because my situation was(still is) pretty much like theirs so I could identify with them.For once,it really seemed that fairy tales can come true...I never felt so uplifted since I watched "The Shawshank Redemption".

She told me she is attached again.I didnt expect her to get attached so soon again and the guy she only knew for a few months.Furthermore,she said the present relationship is very stable unlike the previous one.The window of opportunity closed as soon as it opened...

I wanted to see her one last time before I go for SEP.She said her boyfriend would not be happy if we meet too often.Often? I meet her once every 2-3 weeks or more...So I am the sacrificial pawn yet again.Anyway I won't be seeing her for a few months till I come back from SEP.I think that would be a good break for me.
So what am I going to do about this situation? Like the first time-Keep in contact with her while keeping options open and wait for any window of opportunity to open again.
Any of you guys ever been in this predicament before?

mine situation not as similar as yours but there's some identical bits here and there..
well i'm currently errm...i'm not sure how to phrase it but you can say i'm waiting for my ex...not exactly so its more like waiting for an opportunity to strike but if that opportunity doesn't come it also doesn't matter lor..
meanwhile i keep a low-profile and jus live my life, which means i never go and socialise as much or rather, i dun go and try to catch any attention or chase any girls.
not really staying barren but waiting for something to happen but not going all out to make it happen..haha yakking too much here liao hope u can understand me wahahahah

Actually,not long after I got to know her,I told her that I was kind of interested in her and I got rejected.Nevermind.So I guess I need to work on the friendship component first. So I tried to meet up with her for coffee once in a while,say every two weeks which is nothing at all right? But since she got attached again,her boyfriend would not allow her to hang out with me.(Her ex who was much more open-minded and less possessive allowed us to meet) If there is the case,we can't even be platonic friends.Anyway,I'm currently overseas and would not be back till Christmas.So,I have "lost 4 months"...Anyway,I really do like her a lot and I know the feeling would not die so easily...I'll not give up unless 1)the feeling somehow dissipates 2)another gal appears out of nowhere and steals my heart 3)there is a happy outcome to this quagmire.
Hmmm...just wondering,will you people allow your stead to go out with someone whom you know has special feelings for your stead?

It will be advisable to look around and not stick to her..
like userid said..drop one get anther one at such short time not quite right...
juz look around...many more out there...maybe you can find someone much much better....may it be physical, emotionally,etc etc...
if both of you can work it out ..then congrats..if not go on with life...

Yes,I am keeping my options open.But sadly,all the close female friends I know are attached...Anyone wants to introduce their unattached female friends to me?
By the way,my friends say that my crush is not serious about relationships considering the way she changes steads and gets hitched within such a short period of time after breaking up.They say that she is in a relationship for the fun of it...Do you people think so?

This new boyfriend-she knows for a few months only,just like the previous one...I guess there's chemistry between them...But nevermind...

why should you persist when what you are going to get is another heartache? Let bygone be bygone, look elseone, work else thing and get out of yours comfort zone. She might not be that perfect afterall. Beauty won't last, sincerity is more important.

i can say there's not really any love( sorry but its my definition of love, not generally) involved...
its but likeness and lust for another, after that, it became a commitment.

I have barely started,why should I give up so fast? As long as there is life,there is Hope...As I kept emphasising in my posts,I will not put all my eggs into one basket-I will keep my options open!!!
By the way,though her boyfriend is possessive and forbids us to meet,that do not mean I will curse and swear at him...He wants to behave in that way is his problem.But I will learn from him in a sense by not following his example...I will not even think of sowing discord between them because I believe in retribution.The entire incident is already my retribution.... -

firstly about the part letting the other party going out with other people who like him/her.. i think all you need is a little trust and faith. nothing can work out without that 2 components. if you are really so insecure about it, and yet you don't want to sound all possesive, you can go along and join in. why not?
anyway, as people often say.. maybe it's not meant to be? since her boyfriend may not like it, there's nothing really you can do about it right? or maybe it's just an excuse to hint to you.
one advice.. get on with your life, you'll meet the girl of your dreams someday.

We went out before in the past and had some good times but her new boyfriend has changed the complexion of the situation completely.
