What after next?

I'm sure everyone gone through this thought of "What to do after i graduate (Be it diploma or degree.)?"
This is my last year in poly...This big question keep poping out in my mind!
For me i don't really have that much interest in what i'm studying in now..
So i am kind of...Worried... -
U better start thinking of what industry you want to work in now...

see when your school start lo. budden for me is like, when i start working, i will seems to be very enthu until a period of time, the thing cool down den i dun feel like working anymore. n think of which industry to work in is oso impt lor. at least noe wat u wanna do in ur future mahx. If finances allows. And you still want to study. Go for the degree.
If finances are low, look for a job, and give yourself a year to stabalise at the job, then you either study part time.
Or save up more money for a full time degree.
Either way, you get a degree, a working experience & you are independant and not stuck in the Money not enough trap.
For the guys, there is always national service. But there is lots of folks, though in national service, try to work part time and also acquire another diploma.
There are some, who slacked all the way, enjoying themselves and finished their NS, with nothing to show but their NS Completion Cert.
Its your choice. Above are your options. -
It's easier to switch industry before u start collecting experience.
Like me... 7 years in Health care.. now very hard to get out of it.
My excolleague had 15 years of domain knowledge in health care, when she look for a job outside health care, willingly takes pay cut, the employer doubt her and didnt hire her. -
U and many are still seeking... while moving from job to job...

i also experienced that before..
for me, i juz grabbed the 'better opportunity' that was presented to me..
tho i regretted... but.. i have come to terms with it..
and ok la.. tho my work is really very stressful, but I'm doing fine now.
get some experience and trial and error first ba.. but dun switch jobs too often.
u can try to be a temp worker for different industries and find out what you are really interested in, if u dun mind not enjoying those benefits of a perm-staff and the instability ba. -
better think of what u wanna do now or else by the time u graduate other job vacancies will all be taken up by uni grads.

If you need the $, you can either work temp first or find a job that is related to your diploma.
Firstly, you have more time to think again what you want to do in the future, or explore other possibilites while earning your dough.
Secondly, maybe it doesn't seem as bad as your current specialization is. You may even get to enjoy it or start to like it.
Most people have a job which is different from their interests. Some people never get to realise where their interests lie.

So, for us to help you more you need to describe your suitation. What course are you studying? What are you interested in? Are your grades good enough to go to Uni? If not, have you considered applying for overseas uni?
