It seems to me you are trying to use some form of strategy on him; pretend that you don't really care too much in front of him, then come to this forum and ask whether you have done the right thing (that means you actually care a lot!).
Acting is tough. Start believing that you have other options available.
Both of you are using some form of strategy on each other:
Your strategy: You really like him but you are trying to pretend you don't care too much.
His strategy: Some clowns around him taught him the "3 days rule" that is susposed to make girls think of him more.
When both parties are using strategies on each other, you'll have a stalemate. The result you will get is a draw.
When one of the party starts to invest more of his time and effort, he will be the first to drop whatever strategy he is playing.
Only then can we have a winner.
So try not to overanalyse everything he says.
Let him do the chasing from now on. Your job is to simply enjoy the dates. -
Aiyah, go & date other guys- let him know you have other 'options' and that you won't wait around.
