how about getting hurt is a minor consequence of a great friendship? possibility of hurt should not get in the way of a wonderful relationship as friends...Originally posted by jacqn:i know this question must have been asked a lot of times. but is there really no purely friendship between a guy and a gal? if too close with the opposite sex, the other will start to think more. how to prevent hurt in this case?
platonicOriginally posted by club18:plutonic r/s?
don't go out too often with him. There is such thing as platonic relationship between a guy and a gal. If he is asking for more and you can't give, tell him frankly and tactfully. If he still insist/persist, be firm or leave him alone. For this matter, I have lost many guy friends. Men, guys don't seem to take no for an answer.Originally posted by jacqn:i know this question must have been asked a lot of times. but is there really no purely friendship between a guy and a gal? if too close with the opposite sex, the other will start to think more. how to prevent hurt in this case?
