How long you take to forget someone you like deeply and how?
I just visited my ex at her place equipping myself with a boutique of roses hoping she would give me one more chance but ultimately it turns out the other way.
When she saw me holding a flowers in my hand, she immediately turns away and rejected instantly saying it's all over.
Reasons for breaking up is due to my foolishness and childness for constantly comparing myself with her ex, kept digging her past sex life. It's all too late to realize everything, now she only wanted to treat me as a friend and not more than that. How? devastated, confuse, hurt and etc, all i can do is only accept it unwillingly. She's my first love and the longest duration among all my ex. We had been together for 6 months...
How to swallow this pain? Friends suggest not to think so much but it don't last long, everytime when I was doing nothing, the memory always flash back and we had go almost every places in singapore and each time I visit the places with friends, I tend to think back the memory. -
She has made a point to acknowledge you as a friend after all the breakup, so do respect her decision.
It is also not a good thing to be yourself, alone and keep thinking about the past. Yes, there were great memories and there were sad times but how you looked at it... there are in the past. And you should not live in the past. Keep your chin up and look forward.
Have a good time outside with close friends or widen your social circle. Think about it, mixes with friends who offer a listening ear and gives positive advise will do you good in the long run. Mixes with the negative ones will dragged you on.
There are still alot of more important things in life... so work on it. You will oni be stronger after one failed r/s, so learn and try not to repeat the same mistake ya. -
Relationships once broken can never be fully mended. There will always be a scar.

You're demeaning yourself, and pissing her off. She has placed her full stop to the relationship, yet you continue to try scribbling.
She is trying to move on. If you love her, let her move on. You have to move on too.
Love yourself. Yes indeed, memories would come back. But aren't those sweet memories?
Why are you trying to make the sweet memories bitter, by comparing it to your situation now? I don't. Each time I go to a place where I've been to, with my ex, I remember the times we have there. The sweet memories. I leave them as it is, sweet memories.
Memories are meant to be reserved. The present is meant for you to make memories. And the future is meant for you to think at how sweet, or bitter, the memories are.
Why create bitter memories for yourself, now? You only have one life, live it to the most. -

If you prefer to live in your past and deny the existence of your future, then your scale will continue to regress until the day when you find yourself completely out of tune with reality. You will continue to regress as long as you allow yourself to be bounded by 'rationales' that provide you ample excuses to be stagnant.
You knew you that you were not matured back then and acquired a costly lesson. Why not bring that lesson with you (since you had already 'paid' that lesson) and strive to excel towards a next possible relationship?
Your ex-girlfriend will not bother about whether you are moving on or not. Here you are telling us about how depress you are and how she meant a world to you and there she is revelling in the gaiety of her new life. Then perhaps you should have that maturity to be accepting and learn to proceed forward instead of back-tracking your route.
Seriously, doing silly things like popping by with a bunch of roses just further your losses and counting.
Mend your wounds first by being accepting about your situation. Only then you could allow yourself the condition to recover.

i also broke up with my chu lian ....whom ive been together with for 4 yrs .... bt wat's the pt of looking backwards....look forward..... i dnt hate her or wat...bt thank her for teaching me hw to love.... -

if someone is bent on ending a r/s, not much can be done. True, drama always teaches you that true love will move your loved one's stone heart one day...but thats probably like 10% of all failed r/s.
get on with your life, and show it to her, that you are getting on even better without her....Actually, you dont do it for anyone, DO IT FOR YOURSELF...

Everybody makes mistake! It is only thru mistakes that we find out what is most precious to us. Use words and actions to move her heart once more and tell her to give u a probation. Shall u fail in this test.
U shall be banish to 18th lvl hell forever...
Btw,if u succeed in getting her giving this probation. Be prepared for plenty of hell and nonsense as a Karma for yr ignorance towards her previous during that period! -

this process is not going to be easy nor fast... but it will move forward if you put your mind to it.
on another note,
isn't it funny how when we are still together, we rarely show such romantic gestures...
however it's when you have broke up, that such gestures suddenly become in abundance and sometimes even seems annoying...
