  ya lor, give up for what? just make sure that you are going out with other girls as well... you still young and you are not attached to her, after all...

  i have this type of situation before... i asked but it didt success...

  the worst is they kiss in front of you on her bday party..

  Well, i feel u shld not tell her 1st, care for her n always there for her, gals r sensitive, she wil feel ur feelings if she takes notice, right now it's not a very good time, it's either being rejected right away or jus a replacement. Do u prefer to be together now n later she regret n realise u r not the one she loves?? Give her time

  Good never put pressure on her. SInce she may know u like her,continue to act blur but never confess to her that u like her. It is the game of courtship.
  If u confess too early in these games,chances are u are out!
  
  Instead build up yr foundation with her. Show that whenever she needs accompany,be there for her. If possible,date her out and have a fantastic outing which is outrages fun and exciting. Help her forget her ex. Try to suit her liking,find out what's her interest and work on it...
