do i need econs to study biz?

i am taking my a'levels this year and i currently take phy, chem, math and art. ive been interested in studying business in uni and i need some advice as to whether econs is actually important to get into biz.
will i be at a disadvantage if i compare myself with someone else with the same grades but who takes econs and i dont? -
Econs is way different.
And I think business is something to be experienced, not studied. -

results not gd got econs background also canot get the course...plus econs is chicken feet even in NUS

anyway, business degree will have economic classes

If you are weak in this subject, then I suggest you don't even bother with business. -
I think that it is possible to cover Econs 101 in one month.... Lectures for one month 2 hrs, 3 times a week, take the exam... and pass....Originally posted by curryman:no nid la...if ur results is good.

Business has always been competitive ( looking at the 3 local Unis) so you would need decent grades to get in. Expect to also have a good GP grade if you want to be considered. Most modules require you to have good report writing skills and thus you need a decent command in English.
