theres tis gal whom i like alot and i told her last yr 1 day after mine bday.but she kinda of rejected me, we stayed as close frens. nw mine bday is around the corner again shld i try again?????

If you treasure your friendship with her, my answer would be no.... If you're sure that she really won't mind, can ask her a simple direct 'yes/no' question... <- BUT don't HINT, PESTER or show affection... BECAUSE they're close friends now... Not nice to do that.... Since she wants to stay as frens, then honour her request...that shows that u respect her friendship and that's important to her.
If u persist, the chances are she's not even gonna stay ur fren anymore. Just stay as frens for now. Let her make the next move if she wants to -

Now...as a ger myself...i wouldnt like a guy to keep on pestering me abt such a question even if im very close to him.somehow,i'll find it quite irritating.
But, if you could do something to really touch her heart,to prove it to her dat you are realli serious abt being with her,i think most probably you'll succeed.but then this method does not apply to all gers! :p
Anyway, try not to ask her on ur bdae.let say (touch wood!)she rejected you again,then ur bdae will be a sad day liao.Try to be happy on ur bdae,enjoy it,its ur dae!
