All right guys..... while I am not trying to encourage what both of you (Kenashi & Devil) are doing but since I know there is nothing we can really do to stop you (until you both eventually get tired of it) so how about discuss your issues here instead of hijacking Jason's thread.
Before you start writing anything, try to ask yourself:
(1) what am I trying to get out of it?
(2) What am I trying to prove here?
(3) What is the benefit of "winning" the argument?
(4) What gives me the right to condemn others? ("Let those without sins cast the first stone!" )
I believe AA is a place for everyone to help each other and not a place for us to condemn each other. Most of the times, we try to cheer people up to help them resolve their issues instead of making them more depressed.
Why can't we look at this case (to do with Devil) the same way? Yes, he has made mistakes, and serious one too. I believe he has got the punishment (including losing the trust from people here, the humiliation, the insult etc) for what he did. Whatever he did wrong, it's not up to us to judge. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone deserves a second chance. If you can't forgive the person who made the mistake, at least do not try to condemn.
I personally hope everyone (including Kenashi) would try to put this case to rest and move on.
Devil, I hope you would learn from your mistakes and learn to forgive yourself. Seek professional counselling if necessary as there might be other issues within yourself that need to be seriously dealt with.
Anyway, enough has been said, I will let you two decide - either to leave it or continue your discussion here.
Have a good day!
