My gf asks why whenever i reach her house i on her pc and surf sgforums. She asks why I can't go out to her living room and watch TV with her mum or do something else. She dun understand why I have to visit sgforums everyday. She even ask me whether I have cyber bf/gf on sgforums. Who else have this problem?

Her mum isn't as knowlegeable as all the forumers combined, and hence make her mum less interesting.
TV media's information is not as powerful as internet forum.
But you much tell her, you love her all the same (cos' you need to use her PC!)

On a serious note now...
If I surf the net or forum in my bf's house, I limit myself to just a few minutes at most. I won't spend the whole day surfing and replying to post. Even if I post I will let ppl here know that I am wif my dear and I would disappear in a few minutes time On his side, he will also do the same thing.
I am guessing the mom must have talked to her and said how come both of you never sit around wif her? Maybe she has things that she wants to talk to you about? (Though I am guilty of not sitting around with my dear's parents as well, usually just head straight to his room but will go out and eat with them la sumtimes)
Surfing forums you can do it after you spend time with her la, you can also do it during the weekdays. Cherish your time wif your gf and don't neglect her just because of the forum! -

not that we surf net,,, but that my ex would disappear into my room when he reached my place and i will be torned between going to spend time with him or stay with my mum outside...
laoda99, u have to remember this. no gal's parents will be ok with their daughter and her bf spending all their time in a room alone!
besides, to get the parents to like you, u have to make effort. so stay in the living room, make friends with her parents...
the thing abt cyber gf, she is feeling neglected. so if u treasure this relationship, u will have to make sacrifices.
my first ex used to do this too... i'll go over to his place to spend time with him, but he'll end up spending time with his games and i ended up with the tv!!! its very irritating and feels somewhat less important compared to a game!! -

I don't know exactly what your relationship is like but to just put another perspective on it, maybe this sgforums issue part of a bigger issue? Or maybe she's hoping you spend some time or oppurtunity to talk to her mom or something? Interact with her or her family members instead of strangers online?
To you maybe sgforums, to her it may seem like something else because she doesn't understand or see it the way you do. -
