Sometimes in company of good kaki you can still feel lonely. In midst of hectic schedule you can still feel empty. Both may not necessarily be pathetic mah... can take a step back and reflect also. Sometimes 'chiong' all the way, busy everyday, fixate yourself with positivity also may not yield results. Too quick to judge liao wor.

A real relationship is one where you want to be with a person. In your case, you don't seem to have a specific person you want to be with. You seem to just want the status, or simply company of anybody (and not somebody specific). So my suggestion is, go with your heart. When you encounter that person whom you like, you will naturally want to be with her. Hopefully both will be happy together, and there you have a nice couple. Anything else is secondary. If you don't have a specific person in mind, whom you always think of, your real prolem is the feeling of emptiness, which has many solutions other than going into a relationship. Some take drugs, some take up hobby, some go into religion, etc. But frankly, I think you should be patient and relaxed, try to understand your girl friends more. Be sincere and start with simple friendship instead of harbouring lofty thoughts about relationship. By and by you will understand more and develop your character better.

Well anyway continue lifting; the girls will come. Females naturally gravitate towards muscles, and humour, and influence, and confidence, and intelligence, for the specimens with finer taste.
I'm eighteen, and personally if you have experimented enough, you would know what girls are attracted to and hence know how to improve yourself from there. Try observing the guys who have girlfriends, or who tend to attract a lot of girls. What do they exhibit besides good looks?
I'm going to emphasize the importance of "influence" here. Social influence. The more friends you have, or the more girls you know, the greater your chances are. Girls are very often intrigued if you have a lot of chicks around you; they would want to find out what's all the fuss about. Of course, to generate such influence in the first place, you need to have genuine substance, or be insanely good at manipulating your image. You must be capable in something to capture attention, and with attention comes admiration, which translates ultimately to influence.
One tip I found extremely valuable is that don't treat girls too nicely. If you kiss their ass all day and whine whenever they don't comply with your wants, they know that they have you by the balls already. Just like shopping at the pasar malam, don't ever show your interest in the goods to get the best deal out of the bargain. If she knows that you're highly into her, she can sell herself at a higher price and that makes things difficult for you. Conversely, if you don't appear that you need her that much, e.g. don't immediately agree to go out with her if she asks, pretend to have some plans and say that you will confirm with her, and e.g. if you ask her out and she declines, don't pester her -- she's made up her mind -- but say something like "no problem, I'll ask out instead, enjoy yourself :]" so that she gets the impression that she's not that important after all. Play your cards right and always make sure that you're boss.
Lastly, muscles are good accessories too. -

In any case TS, i think what's more important you try to develop yourself socially, be more open and friendly. With that attitude, you can find friends.
At 17 it's the age of exploring i guess, and it seems peer pressure is driving you to find a gal? Don't get me wrong, but have you sat down and considered the implications of a relationship? even if it's a short one?
