How can I help him to stop smoking?

  i noe it isn easy.. Most impt is whether he is determined to quit or not..
  
  I tried accepting it.. Coz he actually told mi right from the start b4 we got tog & i said okie.. but when we reali got tog.. i realise tat nope.. i can't.. end up we quarrel mainly coz he smokes..
  
  the hardest thing was peer pressure.. coz he started out with his buddy.. once they are out tog, they confirm smoke tog..
  
  he would feel v left out and extra if he goes out with them n he's the onli one not smoking..
  
  I tried alot of tactics.. scare tactics.. soft approach.. scoldings.. i become v depressed.. i jus gave him the ultimatium..
  
  either u quit or u won't see a chance of us gettin married or being tog for long term.. at least that wakes him up.. & provided this is reali wat u meant.. coz i noe for mi.. i couldn accept someone who smokes.. it hurts mi too much.. moreover.. i'm in the healthcare industry..
  
  the best way is to either u wan or dun wan and we forget the whole thing.. let him choose u or smoking?
  
  let him quit gradually.. so long as he can reduce even by a stick one day.. make it seems like a reali big issue.. wow him! treat him.. etc..

  they should set up a set of rules to trade how much smoke is being released by smokers to curb smoking.

  1.5 yr ago in poly i always hang with my bunch of very good frenz of 6. im the only one tat didn't smoke. however, i always influence them tat smoking waste money, take licence better. smoke for wad fark? act cool? only yourself think is cool? think about ur gf, future gf. keep repeat and repeat. be firm and steady.
  
  they confirm will get annoyed at first but someday ppl will understand.
  now they all dun smoke liao..banzai!
