Disappointed with someone I respect.

He used to a friendly cheerful, and even helpful person.
we used to chat alot in msn.
but somehow I was busy with my studies, thus I started to chat less with him..
I didnt tell him my actual age actually...and I admit I like him somehow...
when he broke up with his gf, I tried to console him in msn...
but recently, I found out he has changed from good to worst...
he became a jerk somehow....
I felt very disappointed... I don't even wish to attend lessons now...
I just felt like crying....
Does people change over time so dramatically?

Sometimes, when people get to know each other better, the veil of courtesy is removed. You stop being so cordial to each other and then the bad things start to show. Getting to know people over msm is dangerous for the reason that lots of people can assume a fake persona. A jerk in real life can be a sweet and caring person on the Net. Real guys can be girls and vice versa mah.......
So it's not surprising if someone you know on the Net turns out to be different from the person in real life..........
Let this be a lesson learnt..... Just move on lor!

Anyway, what Mooku said might be this case. The friendship with him is at a deeper level and thus the masking is taken off. Now you see another side of him. Will you stick by him and carry on being friends with him? Or will you end the friendship?
Maybe something happened to him? You can try asking him OR if you know any of his friends, you can ask them instead. Do not give up on him. Do not give up on yourself either.
Give a second chance to both you and him. The friendship will grow even stronger. -
Think, is this worth fighting for? People say many things. But what does your heart say? Will you end this? And run away? Or will you fight, and make sure this relationship gets stronger?
I'd say fight. But it's your choice. -

To console or understand some1... One must not have his or her emotions attached deeply to that some1... And that one must keep himself or herself as an observer...

Maybe he dislikes your company and is trying to get rid of you via repulsion.
