Pregnency questions

  My wife and i have been married for about a year and we are trying for a baby.
  
  Her period was supposed to be on the 22nd of every month but till now her period still havent come.We bought a pregnency tester last sunday and tested but was negative.
  
  My question is when is the right time to use the pregnency tester?Are pregnency tester 100% accurate?What brands of pregnency tester do you guys/girls recommend?

  Period can come late bout 2-3weeks or even a month.

  Pregnency test-kit might not be sensitive enough to detech the hormone in the urine/blood. hmm~
  
  Please remember to read the instructions for the test-kit. Some uses blood to test, while other uses urine.
  
  For a more accurate result, better visit the gync.
  
  Best time to use test-kit is around two weeks after she misses her period.
  
  I am not too sure about which brand is better because me is jus a boi leh~
  
  Yea, period can come late. It can be due to alot of reason like stress, eat habit, etc.

  Clearblue is a trustable brand.
  
  I'm not surprised by her due period, probably due to stress. It's especially stressful on the woman, waiting to concieve.
  
  Do visit a gynae for professional opinions, there is really of little use seeking advices in this forum.

  Have you chosen your obstetrician/gynae yet ?
  I suggest you go and have a first visit to check out the doctor.
  Doc will shed the doubts you have. And provide some prenatal advise for both of you.
  
  Since you are doing family planning now. It is good to start following some docs advise to make sure your wife have a healthy pregnancy.

  Think i will ask my wife to try to tester again next week.Hopefully its positive.

  Anyway polyclinic can do lab test on her urine to see if she's pregent. Home test kits are not 100% accurate, but their still pretty good. Again u get wat u pay for, the higher end ones give better result.

  Anyway , like what others had said , by shooting inside her when she is ovulating , it will increase your chance of making her pregnant .
