Usu every Sat nite, it used to be so easy calling my kakis out for dinner, play pool and haf coffee later.
Nowadays, usual response is "cannot lah, must keep gf company tonite..."

i'm single now, and most of my frens are attached, or married.
i just assume, with no hard feelings at all, that their priority would be their gfs or wives. if we go do "guy things" like mj (some gals play too i guess but my kakis are all guys with gf/wife that dun play), snooker, go out drink with the guys and even test drive cars (i went today!) then that's great but if they can't make it then nevermind lar. i accept the fact that they put priority to their gfs or wives but that doesn't mean they only come to me when they are bored. and even IF they do come to me when they are bored so wat? i believe that if i'm in deep shit, they will be the first to come by my side, whether they have a wife or gf (or both!! eheh) actually i dun just believe, i know, becos it's been proven.
by the same token, when i have a gf i will spend alot alot of time with her. once in a while i will see my other frens, and that would be cool with them. if they raise the siren, then u'll see me fly to their side. and sirens aren't raised that often.
and btw, when i was attached, we always went out as a group. who says u can't go out with ur gf/wife AND ur frens. one of the most important things in a reln is that my gf and my close frens get along. so far so good. and it goes both ways. my frens got along well with my previous gfs, and i get along well with most of my frens gfs...
