So if only I have more guts... I will... have a girlfriend.
Untrue. It takes a lot of "fate" for two people to come together and "guts" plays a very small part. Like if you are fated, the girl would have been you project partner, for instance.
You see a girl you like and you think that you should approach her but you have no guts to do that and so you "hate yourself".
Just because you have the guts and approach her does not mean that anything will come out of it. "Fate" plays too big a part and a simple thing like "guts" plays so small a part that we can say that it is a waste of time to "hate myself the most" due to a lack of guts.
You can keep on asking yourself: So if only I have more guts... I will... (fill in the blanks...) and work it out in your head and see how true/untrue it is.

How to get rid of the negative emotions? How not to hate yourself for a lack of guts?
The third way is to focus entirely on "something else"
That is to say, every moment you spend you time focusing on "this something else".
What is this something else? That is up to you! Just that it must be positive.
