Friend got harassed on blog tag

  Hi all, I'm not sure if this is supposed to be here or smth
  
  but i need help right now
  
  my friend's tag recently got harassed by some annonymous person, and all he/she just posts is defaming and harassing nonsense eg: "omg i thought i was the only one repelled and digusted by you!! i feel so insulted to be on this blog, like everywhere, ewwness" and "someone please make a blog called http://****sucks.blogspot.com"
  
  she is very troubled by this person and needs help, and she suggest calling the police.
  
  i got the spammer's ip address and checked that it's a singnet user in singapore
  
  any ideas on what she should do?

  i tink can do a civil suit right? technically falls under sexual harrassment

  delete all posts, pictures, simply just close/delete the blog will do
  
  dont have to go through the hassle to report police, what will you gain?

  u can guess who is it and check it out from there..
  
  and get enough evidence and call police

  What tagboard is that?
  
  If it's Cbox or myflashbox.sg, you can manually delete the offending comments and block the IP address where the comments came from.

  ask her shut down the tag board.

  yeap my friend is being haressed too. i try to stand up for her yea but all the cowards keep coming. hmm, i guess you'll just have to continue supporting your friend.

  If she don't blog in the first place, she would not get harassed...
  
  Since she want to blog, she should bear with it. She wanted attention, now she got it... She should be happy...

  About law thingy... I'm not quite sure...
  I only know if thats in real life, can sue for harassment right?

  singtel wouldnt even tell u the identity of the person without a fee, much less take action on him
