i know she can recover if she helps herself. honestly speaking, the psychologist thing is only a catalyst that can probably help her recover faster, or be the start of her recovery. the rest is however up to her. should she refuse to recover and if she still cannot break the "i am not fat if i eat barrier" then she'll sink in deeper and deeper. the most frequent issue you'll hear would be death by poor electrolyte levels and infections through heightened vulnerability.Originally posted by rathcycle:you know how to help her recover ?

now im not trying to scare you, but this is the truth. complications u may hear would be damage to the brain and the heart as well. you pulse rate and blood pressure will definitely drop. irregular heart beats/rhythms can be expected. there is also a severe lack of calcium in bones which may cause them to be brittle. in the worst case scenario, people suffering from anorexia can starve themselves to death. go figure. -
