Hi forumers.
I got a problem.
I have a diploma in engineering. But now I am working as a logistics assistant. I do not like my workplace as the task given to me are simple and most of the time i have nothing to do. I am bored. I have been working for 6 months already and this is my first job after national service.
Should i stay on so that the experience will look nice in my resume? Or should i leave and find better prospect?
I tried to endure the boredom but I don't think I will last long. Sigh. -
Find a new job. Quit.

hmmmm... =P still young.. try asking ur boss lo. Say u are bored.. and feel that u are being limited. And would appreciate if u were put to do other things too..

why work as a logisitic assistant when you have a diploma in engineering?

The boss already attached me to a department, which is to pick the items requested in the indent order and then pack it. He won't give me other things to do.
I can't afford to take a degree right now.
I'm working as a logistics assistant because I can't get an engineering related job. Most require experience which i don't possess. -

I remember when I started out as a degree grad. I could only find a $1.6k job and I had to work 7 days a week.
To get such a high pay and do nothing is something which many of us can only dream.

I have a similiar experienec.
Sometimes having nothing to do = worse than being stressed.
Having a job with nothing to do = cannot expect fantastic pay/ bonus = cannot learn much = cannot sell yourself to a new job => and if one fine day your boss decides to sack you (e.g. restructuring) = you cannot find job.
Go to a recruitment agency and get them to find you a job relevant to your studies bah
