  For me, I feel you just did not manage your expectations well.
  You may have expected your "brothers" to do certain things but end up did not...
  
  Since you are now 18, mature and adult, think if you in their shoes.
  
  Be coming here and blast off, you may indirectly lose these friends leh.
  It may be too late when you cool down and start to think logically again.
  
  Trust me, if you want to really feel "pampered" during your special day, spend it with your family. To them, you are the special one.
  
  To your friends, you are just one of them.. What's so special.
