  Lets say..
  
  There is this someone whom u fell in love with at the first sight. But somehow in the course of friendship, you find that both you and her interests does not match up. Is there a way to rectify the situation so that it turn for the better or is it predestined that both can only remains as friends?

  i know how it feels like if there is no common interest...cos having common interets, likes, goals in life, makes both more 'connected'.
  
  well, no harm giving urself more time and see how is she really like, and does she suits u? maybe by then, u'd discover common interests already?

  actually, you can continue to be friends with her, because as long as she smiles, your day gets brightened up right? but, of course there's this saying, "opposites attract", if you know what i mean so you add some things new to her life, and vice versa! a happy relationship! it doesn't matter how many common interests you have, but rather, if the both of you can get along well. if you can, then im sure anything goes!

  Or u try to go from friendship slowly to courtship?
  
  Ask yrself what u can give in to her and what u cannot give in to her?
  
  If it fits,ok? If not...it is better to remain in friendship.

  if u seriously want to be with that person, common interests can be found...just need to look harder. else, maybe u can atune urs towards hers.

  its normal one la.. aiyo... but love at 1st sight is a bit outdated nowadays.. love at 1st sight now is more to infatuation, my fren,, not true love,,
  
  Loving some1 means accepting everything bout the opposite.. so , any different of interest than yours is not a big prob la. Most important is that if you both feel comfortable talking to each other ..
  
  Ask her out for dating sometimes.. see if she's willing to go out with u dating...
  
  If she alwasy go out with u alone, meaning there's some chemistry already.. if not , maybe u just need to know her better and time will tell you..
  
  Think of your career la.. you're a guy rite? this love thing dun have to rush la.. take your time be her best fren 1st.. then later on, mayb u can make some move..
  
  I dont tell ppl good luck cuz its just gesture.. U just do ur best.

  to show that you both are incompatible.
  
  Well, don't dwell on it so much and let it stress you up alrite. Let nature take its course and maybe after you have spent more time together,
  the mutual understanding will go deeper and by then, it would be a better situation to re-evaluate if indeed you 2 are meant to be an item.

  Focus on the common interests while each try to cultivate the additional interests of the other..... This way, it's the best of both worlds ma - there's similarity and yet difference to keep things fresh and interesting......
