1) Thru email (which I dun think so)
2) Thru phone?
3) Face to face?
4) Sms?
Can't think of any other ways at the moment...

oni some will call and ask things like "are u free on sat? shall we catch a movie?"
face-to-face...i think have... as in...the night has ended...and at my doorstep, after the goodbye kiss...he ask "will u be my dance partner for my company function this sunday?"..something like tt loh...but later will cfm again thry SMS or fonecall...
