Do you guys noe what are the ill-effects of eating eggs?? cos my bro eats a lot of eggs in e morning and my parents noe its not good for health..but my bro doesnt listen!! so help me out peeps..((:

Eating eggs has no ill-effects.
Over-eating eggs does. It's a good source of protein, however over-consumption can lead to cholesterol build-ups and cause medical problems such as blocked arteries and such.

I got a couple of times having this heart pain
after eating about 10 eggs per week recently -
high cholesterol.
but i heard eating egg whites is ok. cuz the yolk's the one with the bad cholesterol. but all the vitamins are in the yolk too. -

eating certain types of eggs will cause the extinction of certain species. other than that, not much harm from eating eggs (unless you are talking about eating a hundred eggs a day, in which case, drinking too much water is harmful)

Your parents? Then get your parents to stop making eggs for your brother lor!
Your brother won't go & cook for himself, will he? That stops your brother from over-eating eggs! It's your parents who have to control the diet of their kids and not kids dictating what their parents should do.....

if you eat the yolk too, i think moderate is 2 eggs a day.
but if you only eat the egg whites, i think its ok to go up to 6? -
will fart alot...very smelly one.

Just avoid eating more then 1 egg yolk per day if u are young, and not more then 3 egg yolk per week if u are old. As for the egg white... well u can eat as many as u like... since they are just protein. Any excess is been poo out when u next visit the loo, coz our body dun store protein like we do with carbohydrate ( which we do by turning them to fat).

Before cholesterol came into prominence, eggs were good and healthy, and nutritious.
Then it became a heart artery blocking agent, because of cholesterol.
Now it is alright, in moderation.
The cholesterol in one egg per day, is ok.
But this must be taken, with consideration to the other sources of cholesterol and fats. If you have other sources of cholesterol in your daily diet, then one egg a day, will add up and it is not ok. -
