How true is that? Looks like it is more of either you got "it" or you don't have it. Let's face it, there are lots of good pple out there who are alone, and there are scum bags who have pple who'd die for them. I suppose they know what they mean when they say nice guys finish last.

My only answer to you is that the only cynical lesson that the nice guys must learn is that women just choose the person based on their instinct and the x-factor. There is no point asking why.
There is no point trying to change because you can't get the gal you want. I refused to give up on being nice and principled because gals are not interested in me. I just carry on and be a friend, even I have to be alone. What is the point of losing yourself, where it is not worth it? I am sure that I have said that a lot in the singles thread....

*smiles* this, i believe is not true. The looks i would say have the upper hand in most situations... *sigh* It is a pity...that most of...us..."nice" guys dun have it... and your saying in "Last Guys finish last..." is so true.
But sometimes...you have to ask yourself...whether is she really the right one for you.

There will always be 2 side of the coin.
I agreed on the part that looks and $ has the upper hand for most gals.But some gals just arent in the above group. I have to voice out because I am average looking and I am dont have 4 digit in my bank. This gal has been waiting for me for about 8 mths but i still havent accept it. Anyway, enuff of my crap. The point is, open your eyes,dont always lies your eyes on the beautiful ones...

Painful as it may seem... I gave up trying to find a girl that was not looking for looks or for money.It was just too much to bear... the broken hearts...the wasted tears...
