  o levels are over and my friends get to hang out and go watch movies
  
  while i have to go help my father in work and i dont even get paid
  
  am i being selfish?

  not really selfish, but yeah, different people have different lifestyles.
  
  Maybe you can try talking to your dad, about giving u some allowance for working for him, and about going out too since the Os are over. Of course, talk using a soft/normal tone of voice and not shout at him

  i never had a chance to work with my dad lo.. he chef i go kitchen tard lor only..
  why don't you try putting in effort to help him..? then can have more things to communicate about mah.. let them understand you more.. learn something also good what.. everyday go out movie and stuff buay sian meh..
