Firstly there is a legitimate "feedback". It is not a figment of your neighbour's mind.Originally posted by Ombre:The very sad case is that my dad sides her. Cant believe it. He says its a feedback so gotta listen.
x2. But it doesn't affect me much as well.Originally posted by Gauze:It is possible. I have a hotspot (actually just warm) in my room too where my downstair neighbor's light is. When I first discovered it, I thought its a ghost hotspot.
Yeah, maybe can call HDB to check it up or in my neighborhood, we're referred to the town council.

She may be rite.Originally posted by Ombre:Good day to all readers,
I would like to share with all of you a case that has been bothering my unit for a few days now. I have attached the 2 complain letters that I found at my doorstep a few days ago for your reading pleasure and feedback.
Initially, I found her letter to be rather hilarious, but recently, not so, she continues to visit and bothers my family, even sowing discord amongst my family members, and I find no reason why I should agree to her requests.
I hope you guys could give me some advice.

Letter 1
Dear Neighbour,
Can you kindly switch off your kitchen light?
My Kitchen floor is very very hot. This hotness has spread to quite a large area.
Thank you.

Dear Mr & Mrs,
Can you kindly switch off your kitchen ceiling light.
It has been on for at least 2 days.
My kitchen floor is very very hot.
A very wet floor towel is dried within an hour. I have to keep wetting the floor towel to cool my kitchen floor.
Thank you for your neighbourliness.
Your Neighbour.

So appears that I may have lost the right to utilize my own appliances :'(

Hi,Originally posted by Ombre:My Lamp is really just a normal small little flourescent(sp?) lamp thats probably only like 30cm in diameter? Just to please her I touched the lamp with my bare hands, it wasn't even warm.
And Yes I do live in a HDB flat.
The problem is she does seem to be spying on my house. Everytime the light is off, she stops complaining, but like instantly after i switch it back on, she will complain that very same day, and there probably is no logical way to check if my light is on, unless she actually goes downstairs to look back up.
The catch for me is that my lamp is problematic. Somehow if i turn it off, I'll never be able to turn it back on for a long while, unless I am patient enough to switch it on and off for like 100 times before it sometimes comes on by chance. Hence I keep it on, or else my kitchen is just dark and I see no reason for me to render my kitchen to darkness just because of a stupid neighbour complaining.
Alas, we have a new definition of "Hotspot". You find them on a HDB floor really.
I think he used those stadium spotlights.Originally posted by Gallardofever:That's a lot of crap. If your light is so strong that it affects her, then you must be living in hell.
