I'm not sure if there is still manual registration for JAE. Give whoever is in charge a call on Monday and ask about manual on-site registration.
As a last resort, email to some people in Placement Division if nothing can be done by the call-centre. -
I think if you can qualify for these JC, just make a trip down there and explain your problem to them

Call MOE (whatever number you were calling), then go to your preferred JCs or other less popular ones (if no choice, then email Yvonne as in the PM, maybe they can help). -

i feel sorry for ur plight now.. and i don't really have a lot of ideas about how MOE handles ur case.. but im quite sure that the three weeks isn't really very impt.. because we used to waste off the 1st three MONTHS in jc too..
well i know that probably doesn't help much.. but seriously u have gotten urself into a situation beyond ur control.. so all u can do is just do what u can to convince the principal tmr? tell him what really happened, in fact, ask for a private conversation between him and urself, since ur parents are ur enemies right now, having them beside u is like a bomb..
however, dun place too much hope on the meeting tmr though.. i dun have good feelings about administration leeways after going thru the army.. wish for the best, prepare for the worst.. if u really cant get a slot in jc, u just have to suck up the sh!t from ur parents for another 3weeks.. be thankful that it's not 3 months like last time.. also, find some ad-hoc temp jobs? those 3days 4days jobs? for a 16 yo WITH A GF(!), 50bucks is kinda sad..
i know how disheartening it can get when the very people around you, who are supposed to support u, don't seem to understand, in fact, they tend to choose for u the best way they deem fit.. but believe me, there's only so much they can control u.. dun lose heart.. be strong..
and lastly, it doesn't matter where u choose in the PAE(issit still called that?), there's still the possibility that u are not going that jc after ur olvl results are out.. and i dun really think u can learn alot of things in that short span of 3 weeks.. in fact, after u are admitted to a jc after the 1st three weeks, the schools give make up lectures and stuff for those hu missed 1st three weeks.. so dun fret u will lose out.. i can even tell u u can skip those lectures too.. but thats not the point here..
so take it with a pinch of salt.. dun think abt it too much, and whatever happens in the end, know that staying happy is a choice, not a consequence.. u are in control of ur life, u make the choices.. whatever ur parents say can only affect u by the amount that YOU let them.. looking forward to hearing from u tmr..

Well, one thing you need to understand first is that it's not the end of the world if you dun attend the first 3 months of JC. I think you are feeling that way.
Understand that first and relieve your stress level. Can see that you're feeling stressed now...
Do what LazerLord says and call them up on Monday. Dun worry, there's still some things that can be done manually. Just because you can't do it "officially" doesn't mean you cannot try the "unofficial" method. -

One thing, if you can talk to the Principal of your preferred JC(s), it will be better. So try that first as well. -
aiya, its not the real thing yet.
you just missed PAE only. its not like the death of your life. just rmb to note the dates for the REAL exercise.
btw i doubt they will aloow him to join the PAE la...i mean its too troublesome, you still need to get through MOE system thingy. -

If your school results and CCA are good, then try writing to the top/good JC.
Else, look positive as you may be fated to join polytechnic. I suggest to you that you may spend some time doing some good deed in old age home or do some charity work. With this good deed, you may end up a much better life in your future year as GOD has planned for you.
Please tell your parent to do good deed and not blaming you. Their good deed can give positive choice for you. -

this is the only 3month thing during you people's time, which is 1 month for ours. not the actual JAE or smth lah...wtf. forget to enter 1month like as if cannot join JC later? wth -

If calling the Customer Service Center won't help, you go to the MOE directly and request to look for someone who can make decision.
Perhaps you can ask to look for Director Ms. Lim Huay Chih (School planning and placement.) or Deputy Director Ms. Olivia Chua (Customer Service). -
I guess the likelyhood of Foxtana being successfully get into a JC by PAE is relatively quite high.
After the system sort out all the application, those who can't get into any school will be sorted manually. So at this point of time, there are still possibility of letting Foxtana to be included. -

my friend got admitted into JC becoz of his MP letter even though he did not quite meet the academic requirements -
3 Months? How come? The O level results release in january, my principal said its only a month or so.
