Urgent help needed for consumer rights

  Anyway this is how the whole thing goes,
  
  A fren of mine took up a california fitness membership package on impulse buying so end up now regret about it and to make things worst, it's a 12 month commitment so like to find out whether is there anything my fren could do to get her money back for she paid the package thru nets. Need some decent advise on consumer rights.

  Ur friend or california fitness? Apparently, ur friend buys on impulse, so she has to bear the consequences. Even if this issue is brought to CASE, the fault still lies in ur friend.

  fraudulent misrepresentation of their words? if not she signed then cannot help lo.

  Check the contract to see if there is any cooling off period. If I remember correctly, such business are required to give a cooling off period for consumers to back out.
