Well paid job vs Good working environment

As titled... between a job with good working env vs a well paid job at other comp.
and that comp definately = bad working env from frds experience.
arrowing everywhere, bad boss, and perheps dull job..
but pay increment is 50% of current.
which would u choose?
not forgetting peer pressure, when ur frds are all earning more than u, and this job is a chance for u to level them. how? -
take the higher compensation for sure, esp if you are young.

50% per mth is a lot u know...
In just a year, u will get 600% more which is 6 times of ur original pay as excess.
In 5 years time, u will get 3000% which is 30 times of ur original pay as excess.
If ur original pay is around $1500 (i assume cos u didn't state ur job), u will get $750 x 30 = $22,500 extra in just 5 years.
If ur pay is around $3000, then u will get $45,000 extra in just 5 years. -

From your qns, I infer that you are starting out not more than 3 years...so 50% is a lot of money.
Do your own calculation on your monthly commitments.....do you have enough to pay for your needs, your wants ....
If your current job allows you to pay for your house, your children, your parents, and annual hols, then it's easy....do you need that insecurities and extra cash from the new job?
If not, how long does it take for your to fulfill those above in your current job?
What is the prospect in the other coy? Will you become mgt level there? If you will, then politics can be controlled by you - lead by example, etc. If you are just another 'corporate zombie', drink Brands and deal with it. It adds 'excitement' to your working life! ha....learn to protect yourself in black and white. Evil is lurking everywhere...cos there's human around us.
If you decide to go for $$$, then be mentally prepared to take up the challenge. It's not all that bad really....the thing is, you WILL NOT KNOW UNTIL YOU ARE THERE.
If you are young, I say go for the $$$...take the shit for 1 - 2 years, try to improve the situation, and move on...
Beside $$, also consider the benefits and working hours....some firms pay but you ended up working long hours....so if you sort out your hourly rate, you end up the same. -

good working environment when im older...
because prolly by then my mental health wouldnt be strong enough to take all the sh!t...

paywise.. hmm.. just say in the range of 3k lo..
working env currently not bad, no ot, not stress, though it seems like overworked for some but i felt abit underworked, compared to my prev job.. obviously, my prev job pays higher annually, but i need a brk, so took a lower stress job, at the same time to complete my univ studies..
but my current job worked less than 6 mths only... env is not bad.. colleague, boss quite friendly..
new env, dun sound tat nice le, like ot everyday, bad working env.. haha..
