People with thalassemia major doesn't have a special pump which one can use at home. Thalassemia major sufferers actually have to get blood transfusion which can only be done in the hospital and placed on iron chelation therapy.
That is one discrepancy with the story. -

If Adrian were to be a carrier of the trait (not afflicted, but a carrier), the child would have a 50% chance of having thalassemia. The only way to find out if he is a carrier is to be tested. He would KNOW that she has thalassemia.
Either he's full of sh1t , or you are.
And I sincerely hope you are not the little girl's step-mom, considering how vindictive you are.
Remember this, the child will be a carrier of this trait.
If anything happens to the mom and Adrian gets full custody, it is his RESPONSIBILITY to inform the child that she is a carrier.

Ivy and her mum continued to pile on their attacks...she accused him of "raping'her and video taped the scene to force her to give up child custody and the matrimonila flat(she did not pay a single cent and yet demanded 70% share and 70%share of his CPF) when the marriage lasted ,a year.Police investigation showed that Ivy had again made a false police report and the punishment was a stern police warning only..clear-cut bias in favour of the female gender at the expense of men.
Adrian agreed for me to write this story as his ex father in law died a lonely man in a mental hospital after suffering almost same torment from Ivy's mum(demands for branded goods,landed property,etc)To them marriage is a transaction to exact maximum gains.Do U know why her mu insisted on a condo when they hve been staying in a rented flat for years.Investigation revealed that her mum wanted to show to her in-laws that she was capable financially but at the expense of soliciting so many relatives to be her guarantors(only one successful) of her bank loan in view of her retired and poor health status.

The other point i am inclined towards supporting Adrain is another false report of rape and video taped of the act where in reality there is no such incident at all as comfirmed by police and the end result is a stern warning against her.

It's the Police and how they handled the case.
Why aren't Adrian taking legal actions against Ivy for the misdeeds then?

We're all virtual friends/acquaintances here.In fact my nephew studying in America called me to remove this post as many of his friends there are "enjoying" this story judging by the large no.of hits.His reason is that I may open myself to potential lawsuits but since I am reporting the facts via comfirmation with Adrain and his parents/siblings.Beside his family's support, Adrain also has divine help(sorry not my intention to spread religion here)

Latest check with Adrain...he has agreed to let matters rest as Ivy has sufficiently been punished by the Court for her atrocious behaviour and he has been blessed by God,but he has a civil suit lodged arising from the last false police report made at Ang Mo Kio police Station( where Ivy was given a stern warning only).Adrain will not hesistate to pursue civil action against Ivy should she continue to harass himorhis family again.Besides the Court has also ruled that Ivy and her mum ( after they had apologised to Adrain and his family ) are to keep a distance from him.
