I can sympathize Adrian's predicament on a personal level. Because I've seen how ugly divorces can be. Like I mentioned before, not just women can make things difficult for men during a divorce battle, MEN can ALSO be very vicious and unreasonable too.

One thing, 787180 spelled wrongly. And how is 78180 confirmed that there is lying on the mothers or even Ivy's part about liposuction. Was Adrian a virgin and free from any dieseases? Can 787180 confrm that Adrian submitted a medical report to his spouse when he married thus both side should not have 'lied' about each others condition?
Second thing, Thalassemia is a blood disorder. Nothing to do with any surgical procedure.
Third thing, this blood mutation issue has no bearing on any divorce or alimony or woman's charter in any way. Neither does it have any bearing or effect in the legal sense on a marriage, unless Adrian is lamenting about his refusal to follow on his oath about 'Thru sickness & in health'?

They married women whom they hardly know (including those foreigners you are talking about) knowing about the law which protects the weaker sex, yet when things dont work out, they blame the law!

One, was to review the immunity given to Husband on 'Raping' the wife.
Another is to review the laws regarding to members of public like yourself, disregarding the privacies of the minors and causing harm to them. Either physically or mentally.
I am sure your story telling will have contravene with whatever already existing law and might be liable for prosecution soon.

(You did mention that Adrian is a graduate? And he is not working at that time? Then he couldn't have been forced to pay maintenance to the wife, only to the child.)

I have a g/f who married late, got pregnant and went for a Thalassemia test and found out she is a Major. Thankfully her husband is not. And her child was born w/o that gene.
But there was discussions with other couples who both have that gene and does not reproduce to spare themselves the heartache of a defective child or a possible death by the female who might die during childbirth.
Of a couple, the females with Thalassemia actually has the risk of death in the event of birthing.
IF Ivy knew her risks because she knew she has Thalassemia; and yet willing to give birth to hers & Adrians child. Goes to show how brave she is.
Most couples do not realise that they have Thalassemia until pregnancy where testings would have been done to check for possible downsyndrome and so on. -

They didnt mention $360 a month. Maybe 787180 might be more helpful to point out the exact amount of the maintenance amount for the child as ordered by the court.
I am also curious, that 787180 mentioned that Adrian was demanded of $3700 alimony and demanding for A1 class ward for the delivery of a child.
(By the way, its not known as alimony in sg courts, so 787180 might need to clarify where this term came from.)

According to TS, Adrian only paying $400 monthly child support.
No 70% to Ivy for Flat, and no $3700 maintainance.
So only $400 to his own child, and Adrian is already whining like a baby. Because he feels that he shouldn't have to pay since Ivy is earning a higher pay and refused to let him see his child.
Child is going primary one...so about 6 years old.
I don't know how the child visitation works.
But if at 6 years old, Adrian still needs to have supervised visitation sessions with the child, then I think Adrian must have been a rather farked up dad before, for the family court to have such arrangements.

Adrain needs a better lawyer.
Now that he is financially stable. He needs recommendation?
Because this wont just be a stern police warning, if the right lawyer is handling it. And if its recent, within 7 years, its still persuable to the full extent where Adrian does not need any visitation rights anymore.
He can be awarded custody of the child himself. And his ex wife and ex mother in law will have to be in jail if he so pleases. -

Well, if Ivy and her mother reads this.
Whats to say that it wont be possible (with her income) to bring Adrain & his buddy/neighbour/best friend to even higher level of courts?
Not to mention public awareness of who Adrian is, where he worked and who are his family members, including a new wife that is most likely more amendable then Ivy.
