Yes, women's charter maybe abit out-dated as women are more independent now. But we can never object to the point that generally women are of the weaker sex despite we may do as well as men, or some better than men in career these days. But that is only career. Inherently, women are still more vulnerable. hence, the need for women's charter to still exist.
Despite Ivy's tall demands, she did not obtain the alimony that she had wanted. So isnt the law still very fair? Hasnt women's charter been put to right used and not abused?
I understand initially the police wanted to charge Ivy for the serious allegation of rape and blackmail...but why ended with a mere warning..isn't this encouraging women of course not all women(get it right the 3 ladies) I am only referring to vicious women like Ivy and her mum not being punished..has the police gone soft just because they're women..aren't these loopholes for women to exploit? -

Because, this issue, if not deemed criminal, is civil.
So civil wise, Adrain dont need police officer to proceed, unless he is just some cheapskate trying to avoid more serious 'issues' from showing up that he is 'most guilty' of.
Am not a lawyer, but am familar with the civil issues.
And if not deemed criminal, Adrian only need to spend some time thru the Civil Courts to make it criminal. -
