Time was moving slowly, like as if the world had stopped only to torment the young guy waiting for his lesson to end. Shaun glanced up at the clock at the side of his lecture room, 20 more minutes till the end of the lecture.
He glanced down and looked his effort in the pass one hour forty minutes and all he saw were smiley faces and love shapes with the occasional name scrawled here and there. Notes were imaginary stuff. Besides, they were'nt really useful anyway.
"And that concludes my lecture for today, the assignment being a 500 word essay on How Grinding Works"
Old cow, just like him to set us a useless assignment and kill my free time. On the other hand lesson had ended 10 minutes early.
Shaun packed his bagpack and hurriedly said good bye to his fellow classmates. This time he was sure he wasnt late. She would be pleased. Would she even know?
A short walk to the stadium and he arrived at the stands, a small group of people had already gathered. He had been prepared this time, with snacks and drinks. The touch rugby match was about to start and the prettiest girl on earth would be playing. Her number was 20, and that was the most magical number a person could have. Shaun smiled.
The signboard read SP: 0 TP: 0. Warmup was common before the match and as shaun's eyes glanced at his school's team it automatically stopped at the one person he would gladly join the girl's squad for.
The match had started, and she hadnt even noticed he was in the stands silently cheering her on. Time went fast. Shaun wished the time would obey its laws during his lectures. Though the field was crowded with touchers, the only one he would want to touch was...
