Whether non muslim men/women marrying muslim men/women they will have to convert. It's their law. UNLESS they are not residing in any of the muslim country then the non muslim is not required to convert because nobody give a hoot there. BUT if they reside in muslim run country like Malaysia, Indonesia or one of those Middle East one then it's decree by their muslim law the non muslim have to convert! And DON'T EVER, EVER visit these muslim countries if you didn't convert after marrying one because the authority there can arrest you the moment you step into their immigation should they find out about your status and you will get into big big trouble!

Go to another place to marry lo. The downside is that if one day u die , ur will and everything may have procedure problems as the country u reside in may not recognise ur marriage from another country.. and vice versa. That is the only problem i see. But die die must convert ? not really.
Thats why muslim is slowly taking over the world. First , immigrants.. then they assimilate into the population , cross marriage , convert. And by the time u know it , all key government positions are held by muslim converts. and a NWO will dawn. This is the beginning. I say the first western democratic country to fall , will most likely be France.

It is also prohibited to marry a woman who is a Mushrik that is who worships idols or associates other deities with Allah. Allah says in His book, the Quran,
"And do not marry Mushrik women until they believe." (2:221)
It is however lawful for Muslim men to marry chaste women (that is women of virtue and character) from among the Jews and the Christians. Allah says in His Book,
"(And lawful to you in marriage) are chaste women form those who were given the scripture before you." (5:5)
"It is not permissible for Muslim women to marry non-Muslim men." (2:221 and 60:10) -

I have a friend who married a malay girl but did not convert. The girl only have one mother family. the mum did not enforce it and he end up being his own religion.
