me!! im planning to go to Sydney next year.
Hoping that i can go to University of New South Wales. As for accomodatiom, im not so sure yet, staying in the hostel or maybe home-stay?? How bout you?? -
Homestay: family environment... & perhaps experience different culture if they are caucasians...
Hostel: Students all over, no day or night,... coz everyone's knocking on everyone's door regularly... and having fun! Not the quiet family environment, but really fun!
Off-campus & staying on your own with a few friends: gives you the freedom to select who you want to stay with, cheaper rent usually, as compared to the 2 above, and also very fun!

I'm getting into University of Melbourne or U of New South Wales next febuary 2001, already got the place, but still waiting 4 some frens 2 confirm where they goin, i intend 2 get an apartment n share with someone...anyway i'm doin construction mgmt.

hehee... wow !I fit perfectly into this discussion. ok, well I came to Australia Uni this year...ermm... Doing Electtrical Engineering... The uni is R.M.I.T. by the way, very very close to Melbourne U.
Intended to go UK... but decided not too in the end. If you want to know my perspective of Australia... I think you will enjoy it!
