My friend, you are 17.Originally posted by ah koh:Recently during CJC orientation camp, i met a gal from the same orientaton group. After the orientation dinner, i accompany her to bus stop as she do not know which bus stop. After a few days, i realised she had feelings for me,as she was positive of everything i said. My fren did asked her if she liked me, she took a long time to reply him. After that, i asked her out for dinner on fri, she say not free. I asked on sat, she said ok. Then we went to some restaurant to makan, i paid everything. Then we went esplanade to walk, we spoke abt alot of stuff, i asked abt her ex, then i held her hands. & she let me hold it.I asked her wad she saw in me, she say is my personality & stuff like that. Then we had a good time talking. Then i accompany her to her hse bus stop, then she waited with me for my bus. Then todays she suddenly sms me, say"hey, i ve been thinking, i think we should take things slow, like i dont know if i can commit, when lessons & CCAs start, & its not fair to you at all."
The following is the situation of my fren. Anyone of you knows wad the gal is tihnking??
I confirm what crosshairs said is true! Very few can make such relationship last till marriage. I remember 2 ex-colleagues who had mates dating since school days and that's like 10 over years! Both were near the marriage milestone and then their relationships just break! I dunno the details for the break up but what a waste of time, 10+ yrs relationship!!!Originally posted by crosshairs:My friend, you are 17.
DO a survey, you will find that the chances of people who do settle down and get married and have kids with their mates whom they have met when they were 17 is like......striking lottery. You do not invest in a lottery ticket, you gamble, with the odds of winning at bare minimum, but the potential returns enormous. Gambling, is at best a form of entertainment.
I hope I have made it simple for you to understand.
You're welcome.
10 years ++ r/s is surely goin down or break up soon.Originally posted by apples:I confirm what crosshairs said is true! Very few can make such relationship last till marriage. Don't start relationship early. It's a lousy bet.
