Well, I under the loan of laptop for 3 yrs in RP. My borrowed lappy fell and the screen is like haywire and cannot see anything, but the laptop i think is ok. If want to repair screen privately, how much will it cost.
Dun even suggest asking the sch for a new one. Wait must pay them again.

use ur desktop monitor as a temporary solution if u dun have the money at the moment.. that is provided if u have a desktop and ur laptop have the plug for it. most 14.1 inch laptop has one.
3 years still have warranty wat. if got just tell them the screen just busted itself. dun tell them u drop it.
There are three options for you.
1) look up the manufacturer of the LCD screen and try to contact the manufacturer/supplier for replacement (this step is hard but possible for some models).
2) send the laptop to its agent/manufacturer for replacement (expensive).
3) look for the same (only the SAME) LCD screen at SIM LIM for a replacement (cheaper if you know how to go about it). I got ripped off the first time, so be careful.
loan de of coz dun repair la..just tell them the screen blackout itself...if needed get another laptop from them...better still
Come to school at 8am every morning to borrow laptop so need pay to loan. Then say got problems with the old one and return it.
And kindly don't say it's the ant who suggested it. Some do know who I am.
The screen crack how to bust itself... I have the laptop for 1 yr already...

hey... i know why.. try twisting ur screen.. your screen has cracked alr... by twisting it.. it would be alright for awhile.. but that would not be a permanant solution...
btw laptop warranty does not cover accidental damages..
btw i dun think they would give you warrenty for wear and tear as well..
you say while in school someone knocked it off then spoil.. one of the staffs lah but refused to take responsibility .
I think honesty is the best policy here.
I mean look, no matter how you still need to get it repaired and repairs costs money. So why don't you just own up and see if there will be any rememdial actions? Also, by owning up you could have a replaced set faster and aid you with your needs of the laptop. In principle, you will be free of the burden to worry and distractions.
Think about what I have just said.
U can get a screen from ebay (200-500) and replace it if u know how.
