Hello Aunt Agony,
I am about to ask about emigration.
But please do not take it that I am emigrating. I may or may not. But please do not take it that way.
The intention is to seek clarity about the matter.
Some of you may also appreciate having this information.
Among the Emigration destinations of singaporeans,
which is the easiest to get citizenship in terms of :
1. Time.
2. Cost.
3. Effort.
4. Qualification.
I just like to know this answer for general knowledge and help others who ask the same next time.
Afterall, its known fact that at least 1 0 0 0 . 0 0 singaporeans emigrate each and every year for the last many years. Some has figures saying its 3 times that number.
To quit the INC, the 1st pre-requisite is :
1. Get another citizenship 1st.
I am learning from FTs that the concept of a country is such that as long as you like it, any country you can try to apply for citizenship, as long as they welcome you. I also learn that our grandfathers and grandmothers were also immigrants here. Thus, the concept of a country and having to belong to it for life is not a concept that is carved in stone to me anymore. our health minstor is also from overseas. There is no strict need to belong to a country you are born in as long as you like to emigrate elsewhere.
There are also rewards for quiting the INC.
like : inheriting the lifestyles of overseas, their weather, less humid. 4 seasons or 2 seasons and plenty of places to vacation even within the same city or state or country.
Thus, being a idol of our FTs, I am thinking what happens if a person migrates. Which country offers the best easy way to emigrate to.
The sad thing is that a quitter of the INC will have to find some banks to keep his CPF. all of it. sigh...
