Will you confess? & Spend as much time with him/her while you still can?
Or not say a word? Stop contacting him/her to avoid heartbreak?
& The person also has feelings for you.
What to do? Just cherish every moment... and most probably he/she do not have the choice over his/her immigration?

I lost a good friend too because of a misunderstanding. But after some years, the friendship grew back. Don't be too anguished over it.
I been in a exact situation like you... A few weeks ago...
Someone I love a lot... Is leaving...
Yea I was sad for quite a sometimes...
Until I told myself...
lifes still goes on...
and i'll need to stay strong myself...
Life always has people going on...
If you really love someone, that person didn't leave for he or she has stayed in your heart forever...
but if you don't even love someone in the first place, one shouldn't feel sad...
That's sums up all how I get back up...
Well...
I don't really know why... But miraicle has happen...
She told me out of a sudden she not leaving...
was quite happy for it but...
At least i knew the experience of someone leaving...
and understand it...

Live your life like there is no tomorrow...
Take risks people..it's worth it sometimes. A year ago i started a long distance relationship. Nobody thought it'd last...not even me. Soon im moving over there to be with him and we've already set the wedding date.
Of course it could all go wrong, but think about it...what's worse...a bit of heartache that will pass or spending the rest of your life thinking about what could have been.
People regret more about what they didn't do, than what they've done.
