You see... I don't think I should have even gotten the post if not for the withdrawal of 2 members not wanting to be v.chair. I don't even think my friends think that I deserve this post. Already I see that a lot of classmates are bitching about each other [talking bad about each other behind their backs and laughing at them] its a very mean thing to do, and all the more i bet that they might be saying things about me =(. I mean... I have no leadership qualities, I whine and I'm pretty much lousy.
My friends have already started calling me "maria, pick up paper, close door" etc, because of this position. In my cca they believe in Servant leaders, and so they do that.
I'm not sure of myself anymore or who to trust. =( What should I do?
When the world is laughing at you - all the more you should pick yourself up and PROVE to the world that you have more than what you seemed.
They are not in your position, therefore comments are freely distributed, but comments will be shut by your actions. If you don't do tootpid things for them to say - what can they say?
NOBODY is born into this world having leadership quality - it must be cultivated. You know you whine - change this aspect. Don't feel lousy about yourself - do research and read up about things to gain self confidence and work your way through.

you are elected as a v.chairman - you have to win the hearts of your cca's people. You have hopnob with the correct, senior people in the club, yet sensitive to the younger members. Impression and rumors are often wrong - you have to SHOW them that you are much better and will be. They are disrespecting you, because you acknowledge to their lame comments, etc.

Show, don't tell - actions speaks louder than words. Once you win the hearts of the people in your CCA - people will respect who you are, not your status, etc.
Cheers
