Anyone knows of a high-probability way of being excused with Singapore Police Force Traffic Offence?
My old-aged dad has (again) gotten himself another letter from the traffic police. This time round, he'd driven at 82km/h instead of the allowed-60km/h on a minor road.
I can't blame my dad, as he is earning a living driving a taxi. & with all these strict rules whatsoever, he gets into these trouble then.
My experiences with all these,
email-appeals don't work,
calling up the hotline only directs oneself to automated systems- eg. to use email to appeal etc.
From hearsay, there're a system whereas one can personally approach the officer at their Ubi Avenue 3 headquarters.
Is it true?
Can I go on behalf of my dad, using his IC & letter?
Is it a high probability chance of being excused?
If not, it's another $150 gone. (from my pocket)
So... no one ever goes down to appeal at the headquarter?
Not an issue of slowing down or whatsoever... i mean (mentioned on letter) the allowed 60km/h is like "slow"... real slow ... ridiculous, I think.
Sometimes. the officer will station himself on overhead bridge. The one i am aware of is (weekdays morning on lornie road bridge).
If u know of any other such spots, perhaps u may share? Or do u know if there're any way to appeal?
