xing fu yao zi ji zhen ju mah ? in case u dun understand, let me put it in english : is joy a gift or something that we must strive to achieve ?? and if we go all the way to find that 'joy', will we really really receive joy in the end ? or is it just a gift, whether u have it or not. ??

hmm .. actually, i don't quite agree lor. joy and happiness is a blessing and gift. it's natural -- you don't have to go search for it. just like peeing -- you don't have to search for the pee. stupid explanation, but nevermind lah. hee hee

Happiness that you strive and gotten, you will remember and treasure, thus it will seemed sweeter because you work for it. Remember the time when you did your first job and gotten your first pay? The feeling is good and especially if you spend your pay on something (Like enjoying the result of your hard work)
Happiness that is given naturally by fate, for example a good family, you would have another sort of feeling - feeling blessed and thankful. But such situation are normally situation where you cant do anything about - you can't choose what family you which to be born in right? So when you are in sensible age - many things you have to fight for it - if not somebody is gonna come in and take what originally seemed to be yours.

of cos loh, if the thing comes too easily, u wont realli treasure it. so u gotta strive and make ur own effort to get it...then u'll find the happiness and will treasure it.

In Life you can't expect to get EVERYTHING.... Sometimes you get the thing you want... Which in this case is like a bonus to me.... If you work hard to gain joy.
It only meant that you are a slave of Joy.
Which is never supposed to be...
