hey i find myself abit stupid and ignorant ah...
u see ar.. i came across some threads and some conversation with my friends
Firstly, a girl talking to a boy about sex.. it is when the girl started about it first and also they are just normal co workers...
somehow i find it not that right... tho not much.. give comments pls
Secondly, i came across a thread saying girl and boy (relationship is normal friends) saying that they watch porn in a room together.. frequently..
i find it really not right... and my friends think it is nothing and it is very very normal to them.. give comments pls...
Thirdly, i happened to experience a very very bad friendship problem.. friend ignoring me because there is an even closer friend to him..
i ask poured my sorrow on my another friend and told her everything.. she said it is very alright to ignore another FRIEND because there is the presence of another friend..
i was like.. "hey, cmon.. friends.. afterall a "hi" is the least u could say..." and this happens that the friend i poured sorrow on said that she would even not say a hi when there is the presence of another closer friend...
Lastly, this is after long that i scolded 2 of my friends for ignoring me.. after that one of the friend told me that she dunno why i was angry and tot that i was totally at wrong..
i explained why i was angry WITH LOTTA REASONS FOR ONE TO BE ANGRY AT, and she didnt even say sorry.. nvm.. but she wanted me to say sorry.. so she tot I WAS AT WRONG...
guys.. i dunno how the world became.. it really is very bad.. i cant get it off my chest..
gimme comments on all the four factor.. i dunno if i still live in the 19th century, or just that the world became too open-minded for me to believe..

I guess I have similar mentality as you.
Personally, I don't feel quite right to talk about sex/porn or watching porn among my male friends, let alone with female. However, I do joke around sometime (with my male friends only) but with limit.
About friends ignoring you, I say that's part of life, get used to it. Friend comes and goes, but true friend (<- hard to find, maybe your whole lifetime also cannot find one) don't.
For the final question, why did you even scold them for in the first place? If it's me, I would not even bother about it. They are not worth to keep by your side if they were to disregard you.
In short, Singaporeans in general are still quite conservative, but it is also a fact that our mindset are changing and are getting more open-minded as the generation goes on so live with it.

hohoho the second part I saw before. the weird thing is they are not even bf and gf. The first part can tell that u are not an open minded person right? then as the fren part just forget about the incident and move on ba. I think u may not want to put in too much on friendship. As one gets older, frens become lesser and lesser. You may want to focus ur attention on more important things like ur career, ambitions. Make money... Have u any person u treasure the most? Ur family? Ur parents? ur gf? U might want to focus ur attention more on them.

its not stupid and ignorant la.. its just how adaptable u are to the ppl ard u.. once in a while, shit happens, and we have to accept it..
if u feel that ur friend dao u becoz of another closer fren, den just let it be, make new friends.. u must understand that many times, the person u call ur closest friend may not have a mutual feeling towards u.. relationships take effort, time, hardship to materialise and strengthen.. its a very difficult thing to decide.. do u continue to treat ur best friend the best but allow him/her to neglect u, or do u let go of this relationship that u once hold so dear, so sacred and move on? u make the call, and u face the consequences..

haha for number 4.. at first i treated them as very close friend.. just a step away from true friends...but then i was so wrong... i later then found out they are my so hypocrite "friends".. of cuz after some events that made me think so... and i always tell myself.. there is no friend.. only playmates.. i will only change this mindset after i found a person who could really bond with me..
yeap i am really conservative.. but i had become very open-minded now.. however i then found out that i was so conservative that even talking about sex stuff with opposite sex is so normal to my friends but absolutely strange and wierd to me..

i mean like talking sex stuff with opposite stuff is so not normal to me.. let alone watching porn together in a room...i find it really not normal... but my friends all find it normal.. which made me set up this thread..for 3 and 4.. sorry i cant explain well.. it is really long story.. i spent like 1 hour talking with one of my friend to just explain the whole story.. so in short it is just some friends problem.. read the 1st post again.. if still dunno nvm..

yeap i did really lotta thinking and analysation...
i totally agree with wat u say... however it was me that put in effort, time and hardship to materialise and strengthen the friendship.. but the other party dont do anything.. so i guess it is just me that is too commited in the friendship..
to me.. friendship is just like a BGR.. just that friendship has no BGR type of love.. so if i were to put it in my case... i would say it is just my wishful thinking...
and i had moved on.. just wanted to discuss how open minded nowadays ppl is.. cuz things i find really wierd and abnormal happened to be a norm to my friends...
