Your boss is harassing you. He's a nutcase, treat him like a nutcase.
Remember how when you get pimple on the nose, die die also must squeeze. After squeezing you'll get a BIG SWOLLEN NOSE. That's how your dumb boss is - a pimple in the nose which must be left alone, provoke him and see the consequences - like a hole in the nose.
Not only you must ignore people like this, you need to detach yourself completely from it. See his SMS, delete immediately. Stop taking car rides from him - you don't want anything to do with him yet you still take rides from him. That's something i completely don't understand.
Whenever he sweet talks you - ask him to prove his love by quitting his job. If he doesn't then there's nothing to talk about.
If he quits his job - then he won't pester you at work anymore. Just remember to change address, change handphone number, change face, change everything he knows about you.

I understand how u feel honeybunz....but reading through some of the threads and realised what some ppl here say its true...
If all these carry on, ppl may misunderstand u. I had a similar situation here once and tried to seek help by speaking to a fellow female colleague but cos everytime I speak quite sarcastically to him, he'll go complain to everyone (he's the manager) so I have to back...I always very scared and sometimes dun dare to retaliate cos I needed my job.....was havin' nightmares and stuff, cried alot and was abt to leave when he resigned cos the top management dun like him...when he left I realised tat one of my boss thot somethin' was going on btwn us cos he saw something (up till today i dunno wat in e world happened)....see my point is if I had kept all his emails and msgs & instead of being a coward, go up to e management to complain, the misunderstanding may not happen....I still am working here trying put behind wat others had said or think cos i noe my conscience is clear, also when he kept calling the office, I once managed to summon my courage & told him to get lost and leave me alone! (thought not veri fierce but firm enough la)
See i afriad my colleagues would side him cos he worked here longer than me and veri good at toking....if I never scared this scared tat, I won't have to go thru all these things...now I dun even know who I can trust in this office...jus be myself & pretend I dun noe wat ppl had said....

Just tell him firmly tat it is impossible for you and him and if he keep sticking to you like a pest u are going to ignore him....

Wah, this guy really deserves an award for persistance .
he might have the perception that even though you may reject him now, that does not mean you will continue to reject him in the future. maybe he thinks that in time you can grow to accept him. and he is proving to you no matter how many times you reject him, his determination cannot be affected. the more time and effort he has spent on you the less likely he will give you up.
