Say, you like that someone and that person has same feelings for you.

But, you both know that this wont last because the other party will be going overseas for a certain period of time and the move might be permanent.

Will you, just seize the day and plunge into a relationship and enjoy while it lasts, or will you rather not get involved?

8 mths till the person leaves.

I doubt it will work long distance.

anyway, the regret thingy is the same reason why the other half doesnt wants to commit.

one feels tat both shld plunge into it and have no regrets, one feels tat he/she will have regrets if it has to end one day.

but both are selfish individuals. and cant help but get together.

i won't say long distance relationship sure guarantee won't work. It takes much more effort, commitment, trust and so on to maintain to make it work. Very rare I come across couples from long distance relationship end up marrying each other.

I for one will not want to take the risk

anyway who knows what will happen after the 8 mths but deep down inside i know a LDR wont work because of our personalities and lifestyle.

the other's party reason is that she doesnt want to go further as it might sway her decision to go overseas, i also dont wish to be the party that destroys her dream.

anyway, 8 mths to make the best of it.
