My brother was told by the doctor that the best cure is to remove his entire throat due to the tumour growth which cannot be removed by chemotherapy. The problem is he is illiterate and cannot write. He is 49. If anyone can advise there is any special class held anywhere for him to learn to write English so that he can communicate again. The problem is he would not be able to speak again so such classes would have to be catered to the need. Any advise would be great! Thanks.
ask him to learn how to draw picture then
if he is sad just draw a sad face
if he want to eat noodle ask him to draw noodle
if he want to go toilet just draw toilet bowl
hope these will help
I am sorry to hear that.
I hope everything turns out to the best that it can for your bro and your family.
Best wishes!!!
Slowely ask him learn, drawing as one fourmer said is also a good way BUT you must gv him many many knn alot of support..
The support you give will make him think he is not alone, none have gv up on him...as cannot talk all of a sudden will make a person very down de..if me i also siao..so family support is really knn very much need.
Best wishes.
*sry, hv to use knn, cos i dunno what other words to use to mean "very important, die die must etc"
Can google and search the web for such classes..
Good luck to ur bro hopes he recover fast enough
The doctors will think of a way to help him to talk. Maybe he will sound like a robot but at least he can communicate.
Good luck and all the best to ur bro.
Sad, my former vocal coach has throat tumour because when she was younger, she sung alot using her throat.
Which is why she became a coach rather than a professional singer.
I know this part of life is sad.
But I know you 2 will hang in there.
There was once my friend died in a car accident.
I was upset for weeks.
But.
Still!
Life has to go on!
Go! Goodluck !
